1: How do I get more information on tours and flights?
Contact Thor Travel(travel@thorworldtravel.com) for trip notes and dossiers for any tour you are interested in, or for a competitive quote for your airfares and travel insurance.
 
2: How do I book with Thor Travel?
By completing our online booking form and forwarding your non-refundable deposit we will contact you as soon as possible to secure your spot on any of the exciting tours we offer through our travel partners. Please remember, we can also book your tours with any other tour operator or airline!

3: What can I book through Thor Travel?
While we are well-known for our expertise in "Adventure" travel - Trekking, Cycling, Sea-kayaking, Skiing- we can also book your flights worldwide, any Fly-drive or cruise packages, Family Holidays, Honeymoons, etc. We can also arrange travel insurance and your visas, if applicable. Think of Thor Travel as your One-Stop Shop!
 
4: What happens if I am hospitalised overseas?
Travel insurance is strongly recommended, and for all tour operators, compulsory, for just such a scenario. Please contact Thor Travel for a competitive quote, or visit the websites for our Travel Insurance partners for details. Please remember that, as a valued customer, Thor Travel will endeavour to do all possible on your behalf if you are in need whilst overseas. In addition, once you have arrived home, you can rely on Thor Travel for assistance with your Insurance claim - it is all part of our Service!
 
5: Can I change my booking while I am overseas?
Depending on the rules of your airfare, the booking conditions of the tour operators, and subject to availability, it is possible to make changes to your bookings. These changes will usually incur some sort of amendment fee by the airlines and/or tour operators. If you would like to change your flights after you have departed from Australia, it is recommended that you contact the airline locally. This is because the airlines take over your flight booking once you have left Australia. For changes to your tours, please contact Thor Travel direct.
 
6: Will Thor Travel charge me any fees?
Due to the ongoing erosion of commissions from airlines and tour operators, Thor Travel have, reluctantly, introduced a schedule of fees that we may charge, at our discretion.

7: How can I make my payments?
For your deposits only, you may pay by cash, cheque, credit card, direct deposit or Internet transfer. For final balances, as a general rule, our office policy is that we can only take payment by cash, cheque, direct deposit or Internet transfer. We can accept Credit card payments for final balances, but this will incur surcharges, depending on the credit card that you use. These surcharges reflect the Merchant Fees that the Credit Card companies charge Thor Travel for processing the transaction. Current surcharges are: Visa/Mastercard/Bankcard - 1%; Diners Club - 3%; American Express - 3.5%
 
8: Can I put my holiday on Lay-By?
Yes, as long as the total balance is paid in full by the deadline we have advised, it is possible to pay off your holiday at regular intervals.
 
9: Can I organise Gift Vouchers or a Wedding Registry with Thor Travel?
Gift vouchers for any value can be organised for credit towards travel arrangements booked with Thor Travel. In addition, in consultation with you, the client, we can produce beautifully presented inserts which can be included in the Wedding Invitation, inviting your guests to contribute towards your Honeymoon, in lieu of gifts.
 
10: What vaccinations do I need for my trip?
The Consultants at Thor Travel are not Medical Professionals, and we would strongly recommend that you contact the Travel Bug or The Travel Doctor for up-to-date information on your requirements.
 
11: What visas do I need for my trip?
When you make your booking with Thor Travel, we will discuss your itinerary with you and advise the cost of any visas which may apply. Thor Travel can organise your visas on your behalf, using the services of a reliable courier service to get your passports safely to/from the various consulates.
 
12: Can I book my private group holiday through Thor Travel?
If you like an itinerary which appears in any brochure, but prefer to travel in a private group , we can provide a customised itinerary and quote for your travelling party.
